New Doctors!!!

Post by Jenny on Fri May 15, 2009 1:22 am

I am starting with my new Doctors....just after I had the last lot all sorted!! LOL

I saw my new Haematologist two weeks ago, nice enough bloke, I think we will get on OK. We will sit tight and wait to see what happens with me, so next visit is in July.

Today, I saw my new Rheumatologist. She told me I was not as intimidating in real life as I seemed to be on paper!!! That was a new comment!!! I think, too, I will get on quite well with her....we like the same perfume!! LOL.... I did mention I missed my anti-inflammatories and she nicely said to not think about having them. They make my remaining platelets inactive so it could be a recipe for disaster!!!!

Next one to see is the new renal bloke....... haven't arranged for that appointment yet. Kidneys are OK but I shouldn't really get blase!!!!

Tis fun starting with a new crew again......

Good luck! No fun starting with new doctors. Although sometimes you find a great new doc in the mix!!

Hi Jenny,

Great to see you are sorting all the Dr's out! Does your Rheumy specialise in Lupus or just Rheumatology in general and are they all based in Taree or do you have to travel some distance to them? Geez I'm nosy!!!! Sorry it's just interesting to find out what sort of Rheumy's we have here in Oz.

Hope you are feeling well.
Take Care
Love and Hugs
xxxMaz I love you

Hi Maz,

She is a 'general' Rheum. based in Port Macquarie but she comes down to Taree once a fortnight. The Haematologist is in Port and I don't know if the Renal bloke comes to Taree or not....he is also in Port. Much prefer going to Port than down to Newcastle.....

I am off to Newcastle today, my brother is down there so I shall scoot.

CIAO!!!
