She noticed that I had been taking Imitrex (injectible) for my migraines for quite a while. It has helped me with the migraines incredibly, unfortunately she said that I should not be taking it due to my Raynaud's. She explained it could cause ulcers and gangrene in my extremities if the blood vessels don't open up correctly after the injection! SCARY! So I called my GP and told him. He has now prescribed Midrin. I have read it isn't a very successful ... Even if it does not spread across my cheeks (which it does at times - just like the pictures), it remains bright red over the bridge of my nose (this is most of the time). I have noticed that the skin under the the rash is thicker & courser. Does this sound like a malar rash or not? Maybe I'm the only one noticing ...
