Wondering if anyone else has had problems with a painful stomach. It doesn't happen all the time, but I can usually feel it coming and there is nothing I know of to do for it. Sometimes it hits me before I eat, or during my meal, or after. The pain is something totally different than what I have felt before. previously, most of my stomach problems are aches, like on the inside.
Hello,

My maternal grandmother, my mother and both of my sisters have Hashimoto's Thyroidism. This is another autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid. I have had many doctors suspect that I have it, as well, but everytime I have the bloodwork done it is within normal range. My sister said they did not dx her until she had an ultrasound of her thyroid and a biopsy. She said her labwork was always "normal" as well.

Do any of you have this disease and how were you dx'd?

How do they test for fibromyalgia - is it a blood test? Do you have to ask for it or is it something the doctor looks for when testing for lupus? Thanks!
