Hello Everyone,

lm really glad l have this site.

For the past 3 yrs l have been going to specialist all over Victoria, with very strange and changing symptoms. The last 6 Doctors pretty much think lm a hypochondriac, It all started with my 2nd last pregnancy, l was about 3 months pregnant with my 5th child, when it felt like my tendons in my legs where going to rip, in the end l was crawling around the house..no one new anything or could explain a thing to me. I was dizzy, felt sick to the stomach , trouble speaking, fatigue, head aches, felt like l was in a bad drunken state full time. anyway finally got a lady doc said l have fibromyalgia..

l have a good friend who is a naturopath, she gave me some vitamins and other things to help with cramping and headaches and so on.. and it sort of went away, it was more mild and l could deal with it.. Few months later l was pregnant with my 6th child and all symptom went away, except l felt very weak in my muscles..

Out of all my pregnancy's this was the worst, very long labor ect and felt very weak after having him, about 2 weeks later l just seem to go down hill, dizziness, fatigue, drunk feeling, rash on face, itching all over, pain in my eyes , neck, jaw, arms, legs, feet, hands, head aches, my list seems to go on forever of complaints and l some times have THESE.. l dont no what to call them, l get so weak l just have to go to the ground and stay there..

Well today my specialist told me l have lupus.. He didnt tell me which one, just handed me some steroids told me to come back in 2 weeks and DONT look on Internet..well after few hrs of searching net, thankfully l found you guys..

lm pretty freaked out, cant stop crying, angry, tired, on edge, yes 3 kids under 3 isnt helping much, but there cuddles at moment are the only thing that help me feel better..l feeling very depressed and cant snap out of it, l just want to feel normal again.

l have read that diet may help and l was reading one of your members post about acupuncture , my husband has to go back to work soon and l REALLY dont wont him to, l feel so usless, l cant even open a jar of jam some days or pick up my baby, and l dont wont to get out of bed. The pain is so bad and nurofen and panadol arent helping..Oh and to top it off l also have sinusitises lololo just for that added extra kick in the head..
Has anyone ever got over lupus? l did read of a lady selling her special diet on the net! Can you keep it under control?
Is there anything that will help?
Thank you again
Mrs Boyd

Mrs Boyd
i wanted to wellcome you to this site. I have been on here ever since it started. I have lived with this illness (WOLF) being Dx in 2000. It was started by a couple of GREAT ladys from the LFA lupus forum and was really active for a long time.
But as alot of times people move on and things change, so this site isn't very active anymore , some of us come by once in a while just to check if any new people show up and suggest other sites that are really good!!!

So thats what i'm doin for you and i hope it will help you to find alot of answers.
Here is my fav site and it even has a live chat so that is really nice that way when some of us are on it we don't have to keep ckin back for replys

http://www.livingwithlupusforum.com/login

This is another good site also http://ft003159.fusetalkcommunity.com/

There is none of us ( men or women) that want to be on these sites but it really helps to be able to be with people that live with LUPUS ( any kind and at any age)

I hope this HELPS

Take care
