I'm Karen the newbie

Hi all,

I have been reading a lot of your posts to see what all of you have been going through and dealing with so I can relate to you all and boy can I relate to you all. What I want to know is how do you get your pain and suffering across to the people you need to. Such as the people you live with and your gp who won't allow you any further pain relief? I have been suffering this pain for nearly 3 years before I was diagnosed and now that I have why won't they recognise the pain I am in? It almost seems that noone believes or is it they just don't understand what we suffer from with this disease? The problem I have is that the people in my life have been through breast cancer with me first and now this, so maybe that's it, they have had enough I've me being sick.
