Hi everyone, my name is Liz. I am a 29 year old Townsville girl with two young children. I was diagnosed with Scleroderma a few years ago but was told last year by my specialist that I may also have overlap Lupus. I have been struggling with my illness and particularly my complexion for years since my initial diagnosis but the suggestion of overlap Lupus really got me down. I had a hard time trying to find something that would cover my redness but that would look natural and couldn't find much on the market that suited my skin colour. So rather than give up I decided to engage a forumlator to make my own line of makeup which I have called Liselle Mineral Makeup. It is natural mineral makeup with the added benefit of several botanical extracts and pharmaceutical grade vitamins to nourish the skin. I am aiming to start the range with SPF 30 mineral powders to provide greater coverage plus an SPF 20 cream and liquid formulation for a sheerer application. There are currently going to be 15 shades. All of the formulations are made right here in Australia and are natural with no nasties such as bismuth, talc, parabens, FD&C dyes, synthetic chemical etc that may irritate the skin. The formulators are at the point of finalising the makeup at the moment and I am planning to launch my range nationwide on World Lupus Day in May 2010. I am funding and overseeing this entire project myself so really need to get the word out there. Best of all I will be donating a percentage of all sales towards Australian Scleroderma and Lupus organisations so the products will benefit people living with these illnesses in two ways! If there are any ladies out there who would like to give this range a try I will gladly send out powder colour samples when the final product is ready (a few months off yet). From there you can choose the colour that best suits you and then I will supply you with a free full sized jar of the colour you choose. And...if you love the product so much that you would tell others about it on my online store (which I have yet to get up and going), I would be pleased to give you a lifetime supply - for free! As I mentioned I am just starting out, and with my own $, so can only offer this to a limited few. If you are interested, please email me: lizzyp@aanet.com.au - I would love to hear from you!

Hey everyone! Quick update on my above post...Liselle Mineral Makeup has been launched! The first product is an SPF25 Loose Mineral Powder Concealer & Foundation all-in-one in 5 initial shades. I have had the SPF tested and certified with a TGA registered testing laboratory. Have sent out 500 free samples so far and received many wonderful comments! The most heartwarming are from women who suffer from rosacea and ezcema who have had difficulties finding makeup they can wear. I opened my online retail store 2 days ago and have made a few sales since then so this has raised a some $ for donations which is great! My website is: www.liselle-mineral-makeup.com.au For free samples, contact me at: liz@liselle-mineral-makeup.com.au
